What concerns about Al's voice? He sounded great at every show I saw. I wasn't at Augusta though.

Also a spoiler alert about banter.ergalthema wrote:Spoiler alert for anyone who doesn't want to hear about banter between songs, Etc . Al stopped after the local grocery store line in Midnight Star. He wanted to be clear that the character in the song said 12 items or less because they're supposed to be an idiot who believes everything in the tabloids. He wanted to be clear that the incorrect word was intentional. His banter was very funny tonight. I wish I could recall everything. He clarified that mr. Popeil is about Sam Popeil, not Ron. I saw dog-eat-dog in Lexington and here. That's really fun live, especially with the lighting. It's such a cool venue. Crowd was great. Emo killed it. I'm surprised after seeing four shows that he added new jokes each time. Does the first time he didn't stuff anything into his pants though.

It does not look like it, as he did Smoke on the Water for Polkas on 45 and Honkytonk Woman for Hot Rocks Polka.richegreen wrote:Was this the first time he covered a song that was already recorded for one of his Polkas?
I was surprised by Emo too. I've been to four shows and each time I heard jokes i hadn't heard before along with some I had.ergalthema wrote:Spoiler alert for anyone who doesn't want to hear about banter between songs, Etc .
