You Tube cover songs

Post by Patrickcg »

I know some of us are obsessed with the cover songs from the encores. I made a you tube playlist of all of them I could find.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... k-rky4ExZE

If you find any I missed let me know and I’ll add them to the playlist.

Maybe things have changed, but I thought the admins frowned upon direct links to live recordings on Youtube here?

I THINK I've seen links to the encores here, at least one, the All Star one. But, that might have just slipped through the cracks.

If I broke a rule please delete. Sorry. ☹️

Concidering Weird Al’s Facebook feed pointed to the one I posted a couple of weeks I didn’t think it would be a problematic.

I am a couple of your 100,000 views. I posted Rebel Yell a couple of weeks ago and it hit 100,000 views today. Not because of anything I did. Rolling stone magazine linked to it, then Al, then Billy Idol.

I uploaded "Peaches" from last night, and I've just been informed that PUSA posted a link to it on their official Facebook page saying Al sent it to them.

Sweet!! That song has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Al rocked it. Seems like an odd choice until you remember where he is.

Just a thought.
I wonder if the cover songs he's playing have something to do with his Musical. They're like a history lesson in Rock music. He goes back to the 50's with his Accordion Boogie, then goes on to play Pop songs and all genres from there.

Thinking about it in that regard, it could be about someone going back in time and following the music into the present.
