I know people here will bring out the pitchforks and torches, but I’m kinda with you, hopefully the show improves with time, but based on the description here and the clips I’ve seen of last nights show, I don’t regret choosing the KISS Farewell Tour over Al this year. I love Al, he’s the best, but this appears to be largely the same tour we’ve seen for a decade now, except with the orchestra gimmick added. The last tour was on a whole different level, but given that Al is no longer selling albums, his primary audience for these shows are the hardcore fans, and it’s probably fair to say that most of us have seen the majority of these songs performed live dozens of times already.ergalthema wrote:Pics of the merch here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2204943 ... 763888611/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm keeping my expectations low after hearing about this first show. For me, it's tough to follow last year's tour - the huge selection of deep cuts was so exciting. I really hope the mixing improves. The samples I heard were all drums. Not really interested in hearing the medley and DTBS again, but glad that Twine Ball is being played.
Personally I was hoping this tour would similar to the last except feature some deep cut parodies rather than originals. At the very least some new material would have been nice. Oh well, maybe next time.
