Several years ago, this was one of my least favorite Al songs, but over the past year or so, it's really grown on me.

Interesting note: Steve Jay said he was most proud of the bass part on this song.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I disagree with the song being bad. I listened to it four times over the weekend, and it's real catchy. Maybe I shoul start a cult that makes people become obsessed with this song... :#

I love this song just because it's so bad.

This line always cracks me up (especially the dramatic pause before applesauce):

"Only can eat things like pudding and... applesauce"

When Ruthless People came out in 1986 they actually played the Mick Jagger theme on the radio quite a bit and I was glad Al lampooned it.

I thought -and I'd almost bet Al thought- that since the movie was a Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker flick (like AIRPLANE, the TV show POLICE SQUAD, or TOP SECRET) that it would be HILARIOUS or maybe even a big hit.

But when I went to see it as a 16 year old I thought it stunk since it was nothing like Airplane or Top Secret. I wonder what Al thought...

So anyway, I liked, and still like Toothless People quite a bit, and I guess it's partly due to my major dissatisfaction with the movie... if that makes any sense!

I like the song. It's not my favorite track off the album, cause that's Dog Eat Dog. But as far as the parodies of the album, it's definitely one of two that I like.

It's pretty good. Or bad, depending. But I've been told I have bad taste, so whatever.
