Touring with Bermuda and the Boys!

Post by Wizzerkat »

When you guys are touring, what do you do when it's all over and you're rolling on the bus to the next town? Sleep, games, computer? Enjoy a lovely adult beverage?
Is my dude a dweeb?

We often travel overnight, so sleep is usually preferred. If we travel during the day, it's usually because it's a shorter distance to the next venue - sometimes just a few hours - and we may sleep some more, watch TV, Jim may play some acoustic stuff, or just look out the window. We also have internet, so catching up on emails and such is easy.

In addition to that, where do you usually sleep? In the tourbus? Hotels?

If hotels, do you have single rooms or do you sleep together in a room?

And if you're touring in Australia, Europe (hint hint  ) or the east coast of USA, you probably have one or more days off. What is the maximum amount of time you can play shows without a break?

Last question, all comes in the same touring. How do you keep contact with Leslie? Calling? Instant messaging? Just wondering ;)

If we're traveling overnight, we sleep on the bus, and we normally have hotels as well... separate rooms. :)

We usually play 5 shows a week, and on occasion, we play 5 nights in a row. That's a little tough, especially on Al's voice, but we try to make the 5th show as fresh as the first.

Staying in touch with family and friends is easy - cellphones, email, Skype or Facetime.
