I love this song, needs more love. I love how it also parodies "30,000 Pounds of Bananas."

The place where you can drive through the middle of a tree is no more.

There are also apparently still tarantula ranches (at least one, anyway).

Did you think he made that one up? There is a place where you can drive through the middle of a tree. In Calgary, if I am not mistaking.

I want to share a little story that happened during the concert in Atlantic City 03/16/18 featuring this song.
I was sitting in the upper section and there was an elderly couple sitting next to me. The husband had no clue what's going on and was sitting with a straight face while his wife seemed to be really enjoying the show. And then Al performed "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota" and as soon as he started to sing that line where he is listing all that sights ("Like Elvis-O-Rama, the Tupperware Museum, The Boll Weevil Monument and Cranberry World, The Shuffleboard Hall Of Fame, Poodle Dog Rock, And The Mecca of Albino Squirrels") a beautiful thing happened: somewhere in the middle of this list the couple went "Oh!" and looked at each other as if to say "Remember when we were there together?" and I could felt love and affection just pouring out of them  . After that they both seemed to be enjoying the show much more.
And it was very touching to see how people are having such pleasant emotional nostalgia moments during an Al's song.

LOL.

I've been wondering if those spam links really ever work on anyone. Does anyone ever go "Hey, you know what?? WHY NOT BUY A RESEARCH PAPER OR INSURANCE ON A WEIRD AL FORUM?!?! GENIUS!!!!"

(Edit: And when I say 'anyone' I don't just mean here, but any site ever. I mean some idiots MUST fall for it somewhere, since they keep doing it.)

Or maybe the link is a virus they want to give you and they are just hoping you are curious? I dunno.
