Rumours going about on the forum that the movie version of "Happy Birthday" will be on the Rarities disc on the new Squeeze Box.

So what do we think? I don't think it will make it one bit.

More like speculation. I think it will make it, I think Al is proud of it

Turns out, Happy Birthday will NOT be featured on the album soundtrack. Guess we'll have to wait for Sqeezebox

I'm actually feel happy about this. Gives us something new to look forward to with Squeezebox.

So, Al said that he is in the movie only for a few seconds. Would be a shame if all that footage of Happy Birthday went unused.

Actually thinking I might hold off on this until Squeeze Box gets here. It's just two months away, and as tempting as that video is, it'll be nice to have something new with the set.

Dave, does this qualify as a video, or do we have another Bob situation?

It's even less of a video than "Bob". It's a recording of a live performance of an album track. Cool to see but not a video. Comparable to any of his musical performances on late night talk shows.

I didn't watch the movie so I don't know the context why Al is performing at a kids birthday party. Is Al playing himself in the movie or is he some random kids party entertainer?
