I feel like I ask too many questions on here. Anyway, I have always wondered, what software/equipment do you use for programming drum tracks for parodies? :accordion:

I've been through pretty much all of the mechanics of it, from various machines, to triggering samples in a sampler, to creating stems in ProTools and Logic, and eventually, just creating a sonic 'picture' of the parts in Acid (then generating stems.) I find Acid fast and simple, and quite capable of doing what I need for Al.

Creating the samples is the other half of the equation, and I layer/truncate/eq them in either Sound Forge, Audition, or Acid, or a combination as needed.
