World of Weird Al Yankovic

Hey Bermuda! While watching a recording of the 6/9/84 Burbank concert I noticed that at the 1:08:23 mark, the audience started throwing bananas at Al during Eat It. I know from other shows that at that part of the song Al would usually grab a banana and eat it (no pun intended).

Could you provide more context here? Was it part of the show? Was it a prank? Or was it a complete surprise by the audience?

Those came from the crew, not the audience.
