Interested in Drumming

Hope you don't mind, Jon, but I was wondering where you learned to play drums? I've become kind of fixated on the rhythm section of music lately, and bass guitar & drums are a couple instruments I'm considering learning how to play.

Any tips, ideas, etc?

I started with lessons, learning to read and the basic rudiments, later graduating one piece at a time into a full kit.

Tips? Practice!
