Big bands

Bermuda,

Do you ever listen to legendary big band drummers such as Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich? If so, have they influenced your drumming any?

Yep, I was listening to Gene at the same time I was growing up with the Beatles & other 60s pop. I imagine there was some influence, although it's been years since I played that kind of music in school stage bands, and I rarely get a chance with Al (except a little bit for Grapefruit Diet.)
