It's only being released as "Region 1" and as far as I know there's no plans to release it with other regions. However, I think most "Region 1" DVDs play in computer CD-Rom drives, so you can always try that.



If you can't get it locally, most websites (at least all the major ones) will ship to Australia.

For my site, one of the things I wanted to get done this year was a new anniversary section for "UHF" (it ain't gonna happen this year...got too many plates to spin documentary-wise) with a page listing addresses to write to in order get the movie on Blu-ray in the U.S. and Europe and on DVD in other parts of the world.

The last time I checked, these are the current snail mail addresses for Fox Home Entertainment (which now handles MGM's DVD releases worldwide) and for MGM's own home video division. I would recommend writing to Fox more than MGM, but if you're going to send a letter, it might be a good idea to hedge your bets and mail it to both addresses anyway...just in case.
