Did anybody else here go to the signing?

I got there 2 hours early and there were 3 people queued up, so I bought the Australian DVD and then took my place in line.

While waiting I saw Jon browsing and waved at him. Nobody near me had any idea who he was. I also saw Jay Levey walking about.

Finally Al was anounced and he walked past us. He recognized me and waved. I waited my turn and got something signed and said something or another. Then I continued with my sightseeing.

I don't know how many people showed up, but the line was weaving through the store, down one aisle, back on another aisle and then around the corner down another.

Me too....<sigh>

Yeah. I'm sure Al wouldn't recognize me in 27000000 years.

I don't have such great connections and personal stories like MOST people here...

That's what I get for being born under a bad sign...:P

Me too. I love meeting new people in other countries.

Well, now that the precident is set and the promoters know that AUSTRALIA LOVES AL, I'm sure he'll be back when the next album comes out. Hopefully, it won't be another 4 years. :lookround:

I hope so bad that he comes again!!! I've plans to follow him around Oz next time as I'll be older (over 18 and be able to drive!) and richer!
