Who's going to the CD signing in LA?

Some bad news for folks wanting to have a picture taken w/Al. They are

NOT permitting cameras in the area, and will also not let him sign anything else

except the CD. :mad: :shocked:

I was hoping to stand off to the side and take pics of people as they had their CD's signed, but the information seemed adamant that taking pictures slowed down the line and therefore would not be allowed.

Also, no one is permitted to wait in line before 5:00 for those planning on

showing up early. They don't want us "cluttering up" the area.

Sounds like there are going to be a TON of people there, and we'll be moved through at breakneck speed.

Yeah, I saw that too when I got my little "instruction" sheet. Shucks! I really wanted a picture with Al! Well, I'll have my girlfriend smuggle a camera in her purse, JUST IN CASE. I have a feeling even Virgin security will have to eventually give in to hundreds of crazed Al fans wielding their cameras!

Well, I always carry my camera with me, and I'll have it there, too. I've never been to one of these things before, so I don't know how strict they

get, but it does seem harmless to stand off to the side and take pics of

friends getting CDs signed. That's not going to slow anything down!

Well, I'm gonna try, anyway. Maybe I can arrange an inconspicuous

Poodle Hat cam that takes a picture each time I scratch my head. Hmm.

Well, I don't know how necessary it is. Actually it isn't necessary at all, it's just a slip of paper that tells you what you were just given (a gift card and wristband) and what to do with them (uh...you redeem the gift card for the CD at the signing and wear the wristband on your ankle...er, wrist!)

Then it lists the rules that I think Squirelly just mentioned, about not lining up before 5pm and not taking pictures. Also, don't bring anything else for Al to sign, as he's only signing Poodle Hat! So leave that lucky lucky glow-in-the-dark snorkel at home!

Oh, and uh...have fun!

My sis and I will be there wearing glow stick bracelets, but I'm not sure what else we'll be wearing.

I'll also be wearing some type of hat with an odd, brown, ratty looking piece of fake fur hanging off the back that's suppose to look like a squirrel tail.
