Solid ideas guys. Really fantastic work happening here.
After the success of "Dare To Be Spoonfed," Al's fans were surprised to hear that the snack-obsessed parodist was giving up meat for a healthier diet. It certainly had an impact on his next album, the mostly-ignored "Porkless Party!" featuring:
"Living Vegetarian" (parody of "Living in America")
"Addicted to Leaves" (parody of "Addicted to Love")
"Who's Hungry?" (parody of "Who's Johnny?")
"Fruitless People" (parody of "Ruthless People")

A U2 inspired ode to fried chicken: Bread Me, Fry Me, Crisp Me, Serve Me.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

"Mild Wings" (parody of "Wild Thing")
"Frying Pan" (parody of "Piano Man")
The "Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm" parody is no longer about 1994 news stories but is now presented from the perspective of an easily-pleased food critic.

Re: What If Al Only Did Food Parodies?
seeing some of these makes me glad he did not continue with this theme lol. this might be unrelated but I remember reading that a Paul McCartney parody called "Chicken Pot Pie" wasn't approved because Paul is a vegetarian. I always thought changing it to "Vegan Pot Pie" would really put McCartney on the spot for approval.
taste is only something if it is yours.

Re: What If Al Only Did Food Parodies?
Well, Al had his heart set on "Chicken Pot Pie", plus, he said the chorus was already written, and it was "bock-bock-bock, bock-bock-bock, bock bock". He said it wouldn't have worked with Tofu Pot Pie. (That is what he called it). Gosh, he just did an interview where he mentioned that, just don't remember where.
I'll add one. It's really horrid, but "Gravy Train" (parody of "Crazy Train") - It would be more about gravy as in food, not riding the gravy train.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

Re: What If Al Only Did Food Parodies?
Oh my gosshhhhh we'd have a menu spanning 25+ YEARS of food!!
Lessee...some delicacies would DEFINITELY include...
"Sloppy" - Pharrell's "Happy". About Sloppy Joes, you see? (*vegan part of her mind CRINNGGESS and runs to watch "Tacky"!!*)
"Born to Saute" - Gaga's "Born This Way". Al would look all Foil video-ish, with the cooking show set, but... things very, very... Gaga-ish instead.... o____O
"Another One Bites the Crust" - ... obvious... (Freddie Mercury: NUUUUUUUUUUUU- *dies...again* DDDDDDDD8)
And now let's thank Al for having a much more vivid imagination than just food'ing it up. 8D
