Re: Al And Mad
I finally bought an issue and enjoyed it. I have read lots of MAD and bought the CD-ROM that came out a few years ago, but this is the first issue I ever paid money for. Most of my reading was my jr high school library's copies.

Re: Al And Mad
So I ordered this a month ago thinking it was a unique shirt that wouldn't be anywhere else and it ends up for sale on the tour. Well this shirt was cheaper than the one on sale at the shows so that's cool, and it comes with the magazine. Got my shirt last week, no magazine. They claim it will be shipped but won't give me a date so I'll probably have to end up tracking it down and buying it anyway.Big Spoon wrote:So MAD released a shirt of Alfred E. Who else is planning on getting one?

Well, yes I'm famous, but that's besides the point.mellow weasel wrote:How? Why? Are you famous or something?
In the section where Al was answering a few fan questions (first couple pages), my friend Drew's question actually got answered (!!!) and she happened to mention ME in it, saying that she was jealous that I met him twice.

Re: Al And Mad
Finally remembered to check the shelves for this yesterday when I was out and about. Never bought a copy of MAD before but, definitely enjoyed reading it. The illustration at the show is great and It's awesome that one of the fake questions for Al comes from Ottawa, Ontario and mentions the Bluesfest show coming up, that is crazy! Out of all the shows on the tour and that one get's mentioned, probably just random, but it was interesting to me since it's where I live and I'll be there and all. Wish he could have used my name instead!! Anyways, certainly cool to check out and definitely worth the 6 bucks or whatever I paid for it. Glad Al finally made yet another dream come true.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Re: Al And Mad
Damn, I'd buy those. Just because they are ALtoids and I could use a new stash tin for transporting my J's. Been wanting a Weird Al tin for sometime now. Wish that was a real product.
