Yeah, when I read the review I was expecting much worse than a B. The other two albums reviewed got worse grades than B, so I can't imagine what was said about them!!
Dave
Well, they did say "he is one of the artists who can play with pop culture and words as deftly as Eminem" or something like that- which is "mad props".
If Bermuda were posting this, he'd probably say "Cool! There's a picture of me and some accompanying text about me in the September 2003 issue of Modern Drummer!!"
But since he's not, I'll say it.
"Cool! There's a picture of me and some accompanying text about me in the September 2003 issue of Modern Drummer!!"
Hmm... doesn't have the same effect when I do it. Also, it no longer becomes a true statement.
Assuming its anything like Modern Guitarist, you can probably find it at your local Barnes & Noble. They've got all sorts of ridiculous music magazines like that. They probabaly even have Modern Recorderist for that Steve Jay guy who plays recorder with the band live. I wonder if he plays any other instruments.
Is Modern Drummer online, or is it something more tangible than that?
It's very tangible (one of those old paper and ink jobs). It's got a great pic of Jon (how DOES one manage to take one of those?!) and I believe a little Q&A.
