World of Weird Al Yankovic

That was fun! And just from an I-like-to-hear-Al-sing perspective, I really enjoyed the Cheese Sandwich backstory ballad.

That was the best episode of MLP I've seen since Season 2.

I liked the part where Weird Al pony and Pinkie Pie

EDIT to say that I just watched the episode, my first full episode of MLP (milestone right there), and it was epic. Favorite was the goof-off song, how they made it in the style of an Al polka medley, and especially "That's my song!" "What do you mean? I have no idea what you're talking about." xD

edit: I just realized the TV screens are a nod to his music videos and the cover is a nod to the UHF poster. Awesome!

Just got mine today. It is great cover artwork, though I was disappointed to find out Cheese Sandwich does not appear anywhere inside the book. Oh well, was going to frame it anyway, so I don't have to worry about losing the ability to see inside it as it's displayed lol...

Indeed... Cheese Sandwich's main pose is based off the movie poster for UHF. The little TVs show Cheese Sandwich in references to the videos for Beverly Hillbillies, Eat It, and Like a Surgeon (I wish the Like a Surgeon pose wasn't interrupted by the UPC though.).

I don't collect comics, and if I did it wouldn't be MLP comics lol... but this is a great Al-based memento.

And the episode he's in is really good... he even does a brief parody of Pinkie Pie's song, which I thought was hilarious lol... a brony I ain't but it was worth $3 to see this particular episode. (Episode is titled "Pinkie Pride" if you're looking for it.)

I've never been a MLP fan, but when I found out Al made a voice cameo, I HAD to track down whatever I could find in the way of clips from "Pinkie Pride." I thought the "Super Duper Party Pony" song was adorable--if Al were a pony, Cheese Sandwich is a most accurate representation--a singing, dancing, accordion-playing party pony! The world needs more of those!
