when I signed up for AOL, there was a new chat bot named Zola. She was really stupid, and when I wrote "HELP ME! I AM CHAINED TO A SKYSCRAPER IN VENICE!" she replied "If you would like to know the weather in Venice, type weather, and I will give you a full report." but I don't think she required downloading....

There used to be SmarterCHild, but he's shut down now. I believe one called AustinPowers was made to advertise the movie Goldmember. It's basically the same thing as SC, except it says things like "yeah, baby!" as well.
