By that logic, wouldn't you also want Al to sing Wanna B Ur Lover and maybe also Airline Amy? (I'm assuming that you are female, because of this line in your post)

Eh, don't worry about it.
As for the point of being in charge of a concert while also having restrictions, I believe that it is common for even the people in charge to have restrictions. Heck, unless the heads of CBS were in charge of The Weird Al Show, whoever was in charge (was it Al? Dick Clark Productions? the number 27?) was severly restricted.
Back when television shows only had one sponsor, the sponsors normally had says in what was allowed in a program. The producer usually didn't have a say if the sponsor was against something.
Now that I think about it, regarding those really long songs not being allowed, maybe I should have made a rule saying that they can be included but only as part of a medley.

The only song that you said we couldn't use that was on my list was Ricky, but I solved that one. I still say you shouldn't put restrictions on this at all. Takes the fun out of it, ya know? Btw, I already included WBUL, along with Germs, Cavity Search and Like a Surgeon in the sexy songs section. Airline Amy doesn't strike me as a serenade kinda song. Besides, my name is Patti. This is my concert, remember? It's one thing to start a fun topic like this, but it's quite another to question my choices. The one thing about my concert that I wish could come true would be Al playing at McMorran Arena. It's less than an hour away from me.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!
Al Team #325

Barrymore is general admission, and I would really prefer to see Al somewhere with reserved seating. The Barrymore IS a better venue than the Orpheum -- even though the Orpheum is essentially in my back yard.Well, Well, Well @ Jan 30 2007, 10:34 AM wrote: I'll also add that I'd like for the concert to take place at the Barrymore Theatre, in Madison. I have seen a few concerts there and have really enjoyed the venue each time.
My Madison preference would be the Overture Center, or at least the Capital Theater.
This means something. This is important.
