Well, sort of. :-)

Since we only got a tiny shard of a Prodigy parody, I decided to re-edit the Weird Al Show version of "Lousy Haircut" into a full-length song! Using "Firestarter" as a template, I carefully spliced and looped elements of the Al version where possible, and seamlessly transitioned to bits of the Prodigy original where no Al material existed. (I also remixed the Al elements to give the song more power and bass; mix wise, it was pretty weak compared to the bassy original.) In the end, I was able to extend "Lousy Haircut" from a 29 second fragment to a full 3:28 song.

I have a feeling if Al did actually decide to make this a full length release on an album like RWS that this is pretty close to what his lyrical arrangement would be (since the actual lyrics of the original "Firestarter" are pretty repetitive...of course, Al would probably come up with maybe one or two new lines at least, but still you hit the nail on the head with this one...)

Seriously, if this were 2007 and I had just come across the TWAS clip of this on YouTube and later stumbled upon this mp3 on Limewire (probably along with other "comedy" songs often falsely credited to Wired "Al" Yonkowitzki) I would've naturally assumed that he actually did ask Keith Flint for permission to record this number and that he later released it on either BHD or RWS...I probably would correctly assume that he recorded a full length song and didn't make a full length video for it and that it was just used for "flipping through channels" on his show (ala "Fridge" and "Lasagna")...then, my mind would've been blown months later trying to figure out which album it was indeed released on only to find that he didn't release it at all...not even as a single...in fact, he didn't bother to even record that whole song and indeed some other person just mixed the audio from that clip with the real version of "Firestarter"...then I'd think to myself "well, that probably would explain why the lyrics for 'Lousy Haircut' didn't show up on any Al fansite..."

Oh, good thing this isn't 2007 then because it sounds like it would have really stressed you out.
