So i figured i'd start a topic, anyone who loves to make shirts like me and Anna do post em here I'd love to see your designs!
Here's mine for the Knoxville, TN show.
People seemed to enjoy it, many folks took pictures of it for their blogs and Twitter. Even Al himself enjoyed it, and took a picture of it on his Iphone for his "archives" !
BTW me and Anna made the shirt's backs to match, with "Yankovic 27" in jersey style. I'lll upload a photo of the back whenever i get a chance later.

Re: Weird Al Tee Shirts!!!
That's a great shirt!
I'm going to be taking a silkscreening class during the first two weeks of August. Once I learn how to do prints on T-shirts, I plan on making a plethora of Al shirts.

Here are some hand-painted shirts by me!
This is one of Al as a little boy (the picture is tilted and it makes him look funny)
I KNOW I LEFT OFF THE APOSTROPHE IN THE WORD "DON'T" but i fixed it

In my Airbrush class in High school two years ago, I made a t-shirt with this design on it...I plan to wear it to the 7/29 show...

Anna, your work is amazing! You have inspired me to try something similar, although I can only attempt a much simpler design.
What kind of fabric paints do you use?
Do you treat it in any way to make sure it will withstand washing?
Can you machine wash them?

Re: Weird Al Tee Shirts!!!
Thanks Well, I use Fabric paint that you can get just about anywhere: Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, etc.
The brand I have is called Tulip and it's "dimensional fabric paint" You are supposed to squeeze It and it comes out in a fine line, but i usually dump it all in a cup and use a paintbrush. It's fairly cheap.
So far, it hasn't washed off(and it's not supposed to). I'm not a professional painter or anything and there probably is a more professional paint to use but, I like this stuff!
Good luck! Please post pictures!!
