Well, I'm glad TBITB are back, safe and sound.:) I'd really like to visit Australia now after reading such a positive message about them. I definatly have a big thing for incredibly polite people! I'm also excited to see some site updates! Any chance of some pictures with Al, kangaroos, koalas, or all three?

Hi, Jon! Welcome back! I'm glad you had a good time in Australia! My aunt and uncle have friends from there, and they're really nice people. I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures!

Wow, your description of Australia sounds like Seattle. People here are very polite, let you cross the street (though less now than before, I figure it's the transplants), give up seats on the bus, say 'good morning.' Bus drivers even smile and say 'good morning'. Expect anybody to just start a conversation with you anyplace, waiting in lines, on the elevator, on the bus or waiting to cross the street. It's a far cry from the environment I grew up in Chicago, where people don't even look you in the eye.

I also took a Sunday afternoon flight home (from Sydney) arriving in LA in the morning. I wonder if you were on my flight? Of course, economy class isn't allowed to visit the people in first class or business class.

Anyway, glad you made it back safely! I hope you're adjusting to the time change better than I am. LOL!

Now we just need to wait for Steve and Pete to come back and we're complete again. It's great that they get to play some more in Australia.

The time zone thing must be really odd.

Just so good to have mostly everyone back. You guys are our panacea.
