Shame. Such a shame. For Ed and Michael. And Farrah, too.

Wonder if Al's gonna make a comment of sorts?

Wow. It seems like there is an empty spot in the world now. I'm with Al, I can't really believe it! (and I'm really even too young to be THAT affected by the MJ era, but still!)

RIP- Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Ed MCmahon. :(
Oh snap!

Yeah, I thought my brother was kidding when he told me he died.

RIP Michael Jackson. :(
"Did you see Journey to the Center of the Earth?"
"I did!"
"Me neither...wait..."
"You had that planned didn't you?"

He did:

@alyankovic Oh man. Can't believe it. RIP Michael Jackson.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So did Suzanne.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Yeah, I saw that. :( I had several J5 45's in my youth, so I'm right there with Nina. Used to dance to them in the basement. Whatever anyone's opinion of MJ might be, he was gracious enough to let Al parody his songs, and seemed to have a good sense of humor.

I'm sorry but the fact that he died doesn't change the fact that he almost definitely raped several children. Sure he was a great pop artist in his time, but the real thing to be lamenting here is his horrible upbringing and what it eventually led to.

Well a jury disagreed with you on that one, and since there's no actual proof that he ever raped anyone, it's hard for me to condemn him for that. Granted, the man had many problems, and I certainly didn't have much respect for him as a person. Any sadness I feel over his death is based purely on what the music world has lost.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.
