Hot Topic has a Kurt Cobain Action Figure... Now, why did I comply that imformation? Oh, because the action figure looks a lot like Al in the SLN. Atleast to me. Go here and tell me if it looks even a little close to Al. If I can get it (like I want to) I can pretend it's Al (and you can, too, if you buy it).

Needs glasses, but otherwise, yeah, it looks a little like Al.

Yeah, it sort of looks like Al, but that's because Al dressed exactly like Kurt did for SLN.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I was watching GMA this morning, and they were having a teen fashion show. Well, this one girl was wearing a white mini skirt *but not too mini, which was fine*, a dark gray blouse that came down about mid hip, with white stars on it, and....wait for it...black and white checked Vans! I thought of Al right away, of course. But Bill Weir, who usualy does the weekend GMA, thought of Jeff Spicoli, Sean Penn's character from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I suppose he could have really brought Vans out into the spotlight back in the 80's. I'm just conditioned to think Vans = Weird Al. Ah, well. I still thought it was kinda cool. I might just get a black and white checked pair of Vans next! Not sure about wearing Vans with a skirt, though. I let the kids do that.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

My son wants checked Vans b/c his friend, who is really into Ska music, wears them all the time; even in his formal wear.

I'm happy with my Haiwian print ones.
