Al has been using it quite a bit.

I swear I only hear/read the word when Al's got a new album out. It started with Poodle Hat, then Straight Outta Lynwood, and now that the fiery Alpocalypse is upon us, Zeitgeist has once again arisen from the ashes like some kind of etymological phoenix.

Here's a pretty decent review that I think actually truly does a good job of reviewing (ie listing positives AND faults):

Yeah, that was a good review. Very in depth.

That is a very good review, and it's obvious the reviewer is a longtime Al fan. I don't agree that Al's clean-cut image has taken a hit because of his use of the so-called mild expletive, the word "crap." This is still a very good overall review though.

Al's never had a "clean-cut" image, really. "transexual nazi eskimos", "I'm just a cross dressing alcoholic neo nazi porno star as you may have guessed...", the entirety of Truck Drivin' Song and Wanna B Ur Lovr, the gas pumps joke in One More Minute...

It's not like he's always been squeaky-clean. Not really unsafe or vulgar, but he's not the freaking Teletubbies of comedy music.

That's Peter Combe, who is the best, by the way.

You're right he's not squeaky clean but I'd say he's generally family friendly. I mean I saw a lot of young kids at his show. He's still an artist you can play for your kids.

Yes, i dont know what those people are looking at, they obviously do not listen to his music or watch any of his tv appearances.

A song about Jerry Springer is not exactly the most appropriate thing to sing of and all the wrist cutting gags throughout the years. And when he does say something bad he does att he very end when the song is fading out. I would love to hear someone ask about the fade out cursing one day. That will be a person who really did some research

So I was reading the liner notes. Does anyone know why Patrick Hughes, Mari Tamburo and Jerry Harrison are thanked? It's after he thanks Charles Nelson Reilly but before he starts thanking some of the guest musicians, so I imagine they're important somehow.
