The Doors are awesome. I'm a big fan, so I loved this style-parody! I was even more excited when I heard Ray Manzarek played on the track. :)

I bought Al's new ALbum earlier this evening ... and this is my favorite song! Wow, I can't believe it's been "leaked" for almost a year, and today was the first time I heard it! But this song is AWESOME! I love the Doors, and Al nailed them with this style parody. I like quite a few of the songs (upon the first three or so listens) ... CNR and the Polka are also among my favorites ... but this song is just plain awesome.

The quality of music in general on this album is fantastic (among Al's best in my opinion) ... even without listening to the lyrics, it's a great experience.

Going back for a fourth (or so) listen!

I agree. Most of his style parodies this time around hit the nail on the head (with the exception of the Weezer-Skipper Dan thing).

Dingo! And Way_Moby! Good to see you guys also!! I've missed this place!

Is there an easy to get to place that list all of Al's tour dates for the new CD? (Yeah, I know, I could look myself ... probably find it ... blah blah blah ... and this isn't really the topic for the question ... whatever! ...)

Were there any songs on the new CD that WEREN'T leaked?

Thanks, Big Spoon! :)

And that's cool ... it seems like this ALbum has been in the "works" for quite some time! It shows ... high quality ... and Craigslist has become one of my favorite songs of all time in a very short time span.

Hey, Ak. Good to see you around these parts!
Only about half of the album was released before today. The Internet Leaks were Whatever You Like, Craigslist, Skipper Dan, CNR, and Ringtone. Polka Face was performed live all of last summer, and Perform This Way was released on YouTube about two months ago. All of the rest is brand new. I'm glad you like the album as much as the rest of us seem to!
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.
