I believe Jerry Harrison owns the studio CraigSlist was recorded in.

Don't know who the others are

Marko_The_Odd wrote:So I was reading the liner notes. Does anyone know why Patrick Hughes, Mari Tamburo and Jerry Harrison are thanked? It's after he thanks Charles Nelson Reilly but before he starts thanking some of the guest musicians, so I imagine they're important somehow.
Google is your friend:
Patrick Hughes
Jerry Harrison
Jerry Harrison and Ray Manzarek playing on the same concert bill
Jerry Harrison and Mari Tamburo on the same board of directors
There's this
Mari Mack is aka Mari Tamburo, founder of A Vehicle for Change.
And there's this from 2009:
Last week, A Vehicle for Change was at Sausalito Sound with Weird Al and Ray Manzarek working on an upcoming release – which is under wraps until June 16th. Stay tuned – it will crack you up!
So I think it's safe to say that Mari and Jerry helped make Craigslist happen.

I did some Googling, but not enough. And I knew that Jerry Harrison had something to do with Craigslist but I wasn't sure on what. The Patrick Hughes one just confused me because that's the name of my brother and therefore seemed like too common of name to try to look up. But now that makes sense.

I just realized something. Many people have speculated about Al representing "famine" among the four horsemen. This could represent his gradual move away from food based parodies and his comedic maturing as an artist.

Well, he did say in an interview recently that he gave up eating when he started doing parodies about computers and the internet. Although he still deducts the cost of groceries from his taxes because food is still very inspirational.

I always thought that appearing as "Famine" was a reference to his tireless and successful efforts to always fit in the Craigslist pants.

I'm glad he seemed to realize that his technology songs are becoming the new food song. Maybe he'll start laying back on them...

Or maybe not. So much of our culture is transmitted and shared that way now.
