Helen, I'm so glad you went - looking forward to the pictures. Those Chinese acrobats were annoying us last month, too.

Heh, a while back when I was new to Facebook, he said happy birthday to me after realizing we had the same birthday...

No, not the same year. :)

Weirdly...

Alejandra *just* found THIS
in which Jim's year of birth is given as 1950.

Now I have never seen Jim's year of birth printed ANYWHERE before and always assumed Jim fell between Steve and Ruben in age (please take Ruben's assertion he himself was born in 1964 with a grain of salt! ;) )
with Jon and then Al as the youngest.

Ruben is ALWAYS telling us that Steve is older than anyone else on the planet, so can this be right?
Not that there's anything wrong with that; Jim's awesome (& gorgeous) whatever.
Is it a misunderstanding on the part of the journo for "in the 1950s" I wonder?

Who knows? mystery solved? or... mystery deepens?

Anyway, it made me giggle.

Wait... born in 1950 would make him 50 years old? Why is that surprising? I would have guessed about that. And 50 isn't old by any means.

He looks great, and very fit. So whatever his age, I like it.

It would make him 59 this December.

Right. I had 1959 on the brain. Still. 59 is not old. And my other point still stands.
