There's really not much difference between an A & Z show and Steve's albums (except fewer instruments live, not that you really notice). Mostly the repertoire is the same. So see A & Z live if you can, and buy all Steve's albums.

Further information about tonight's Knitting Factory show: Ak & Zuie are on at 10:30. We knew that. What we didn't know is that Miles & Ian Jay and their band (I didn't even know Ian was a musician, I just knew about his film/video interest, go figure) are playing at 8:30. In between them, at 9:30, is a rap/funk group called Moose Honey.
