I just wanted to start a thread for this awesome member of the band, Rubén.

If you've never seen Al live, you can never understand this guy's importance with the band. He really sets the tone for a lot of Al's live performances.


The fact that this guy dressed up in a cone bra every single night (great pictures of this, anyone??) for several years indicates he should at least get his own thread on this forum. He also has several other hilarious performance bits I've seen over the years, to say nothing of his keyboard mastery and singing.

Never had the pleasure (?) of seeing Rubén in the cone bra during a concert, but he did die beautifully when Al shot him night after night on the Poodle Hat tour!
