I didn't ask for several reasons.

1. I have no more ankles.
2. He would say no, so why bother?
3. Back in the late 90s and and early 2000s when I was getting my tattoos, he really only was the touring keyboardist (not on any or many album tracks) and every tour was supposed to be his last, so he was just temporary (albeit a 6+ year temp...).

Now things are a little different for #3, but #1 and #2 still hold.
