That is a very strange review. Al didn't "disappear" for a couple of years, and why would this reviewer have thought that the "YP" thing was staged?
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

From the article, I got the impression that it was from the scene in the W&N video, which struck me as more "getting back" at Atlantic than anything else. Plus it was funny!
Hmmm...something's gone horribly awry here...

And this is ending up in a GUIDE? Sounds like he wrote the thing in about 15 minutes, with some quick Googling and a lot of assumptions.

On a train back from Scotland, a bunch of chavs* were playing random rap songs and RnB from their phones. One played White and Nerdy. I could not contain my excitement :)

*If you're unfamiliar with this word or what a chav is, I wish I were you :)

At least the marketing people realize to promote this album this time around. I'm glad they realized that W&N had tremendous potential.

Today at school I heard some kids talking about W&N after they mentioned Ridin'. It was the first time my mind signaled "Al is really popular"!

I'm not being condescending, I'm too busy thinking about far more important things you wouldn't understand.
