Nobody knows until the show comes on.

Speaking of which, when is the episode going to air?

According to TV.com it was scheduled to air July 9, but now that info is gone, so who knows how authentic that date was in the first place.

Ah, so it wasn't just me. I couldn't find the airdate info on tv.com either.

The episode guide on adultswim.com has mistakes in it. Some skits "cross over"
from one episode to another. There's probably some last-minute editing
being done.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the scheduled July 9'th airing will turn out to
be delayed/changed.

The weasels at atlantic deserve a good stomping.

Just looked at a tentative schedule someone posted on tv.com. Al's episode #35 in which "Weird Al Yankovic's 'Weasel Stomping Day' receives a Robot Chicken video treatment!" is now tentatively schedule to air October 22, 2006.

October 22nd?! :oo You know, if this is meant to help promote his new album, this could mean that the album has been pushed all the way back to October.

Or it could just mean that a release date still hasn't been decided on and a mid-fall airdate seemed like a safe bet. Although it's not as common as on VH1, Cartoon Network does tinker with its schedule from time to time, including the occasional last minute update, so a lot can happen in the next four months (and there are plenty of Tuesdays in the meantime).

Of course, this is all assuming that the show and/or the network has to actually work this episode's premiere around the album's release schedule. In the deal they made with Al for the video they might be contractually obligated to not broadcast the song before the release date, or it could just be that the Adult Swim folks voluntarily delayed the episode on the basis of their good relationship with Al. Who knows for sure.

Well, from what Apocaloso posted, it doesn't sound like this delay has anything to do with the release date of the album. It sounds like Cartoon Network has just cut the number of episodes of "Robot Chicken". It looks to be just a thing with the show in general, not just Al's episode.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Still, it is odd how this delay would take place in the same week as Al announcing the delay of his album...
