That's an awesome costume! I was watching the Whacking Day episode of The Simpsons, and I immediatly thought of WSD. Do you think by any chance that Al got the idea for WSD after watching the Whacking Day episode?

love ALWAYs

He became Francine back in 76' and then he joined that cult. I think his name is Mother Shibubu now.

I suppose there could have been some influence there, though Al said he just thought of the idea off the top of his head when he was trying to think of a really wacky holiday.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I always imagined the inpiration was the kids' song "Pop Goes the Weasel". Certainly whenever I hear that song I think of WSD.

I don't look too much into it.

:P

Although, I do believe the song and the Simpson's episode are pretty similar...

Come on, weasels were born to be stomped. They serve no other purpose.

I know Al said that Weasel Stomping Day took place on June 31, but do we have a day when we celebrate it here? If not, I think that maybe we should.

We need to petition the government to add June 31 to the calendar.

Then, and only then, can we celebrate Weasel Stomping Day.

I've always thought February 29 would be better spent and more useful as June 31. The weather would be so much better, and now it would be Weasel Stomping Day.
This means something. This is important.

Why not celebrate on both days?
