I posted this a little while ago. This guy claims to be working on an animated Al vid, wasn't sure if I believed it at first but it makes more sense now. I don't think it's the same guy.

It's not the same guy because the first link is from a woman (saml)
There are probably several animators on this project.
This means something. This is important.

I thought about your post after seeing this latest one. You're right, it at least makes more sense now. This guy could be part of Katie's or John's staff, or Al may have been auditioning animators (or however it is one goes about picking an animator) way back in 2004. Anyway, if it's for the same video, it's been in the works for quite a while, lending more weight to my thought that it might not be for a lead parody.

Hmm...a collaborative video, maybe?

Yeah, someone pointed out earlier that the guy who did the Star Wars Gansta Rap video had Al ask them for music video help. It could be a compilation of many different styles like the UHF video.

You know, that sounds about right. The opinion on another forum was that John K. isn't the speediest way to go about animation. I figure they'd be able to get a small amount of animation in.

Man, this is gonna be neat to see.
Aron-- Only the second accordionist to ever sit in the trunk of Torsoboy's DeLorean. Al was the first.

Yeah, I have to agree with Mewrio. Al is very capable and he knows what he's doing. This animator has been hired for a very specific reason. I'm sure if Al thought that she wasn't capable or that her style was too "silly", he would have gone with someone else.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I never once in my post said I doubted Al. I'm just saying that I don't like what I see so far.

One more thing to keep in mind about an animated music video like this, is this going to give Al the kind of media attention he's wanting? I mean, making a very silly video won't exactly boost his street cred with new audiences. I can't really see those sketches revealed so far in heavy revolution on MTV.
