For anyone who is in the Eastern Time Zone, just go back a day to see the comic avesjohn is talking about. Imagine if a talking scale actually said that. How embarassing.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

it's a good song!
WOWAY's resident ukulele-dijeridoo-jaw harp-accordion-keyboard-theremin playing chair made out of big eyeballs.

Gonna dust the cobwebs off this one. As many of you know, I'm a huge Zappa fan. I went and saw Dweezil and the Zappa Plays Zappa show, and it was fantastic! I took my Poodle Hat cd hoping to get it signed after the show. While wandering around in the lobby I heard several conversations about GiF. All of which were positive. I of course had to pull it out so people could see the magnificence of the album. Dweezil did end up signing it, but he never even batted an eye. I figured it would have gotten some comment.

Wow, Mike! Dweezil signed your cd? Did you get to say anything to him?? Glad to hear you enjoyed the show!

It was not like an Al meet and greet. He just kneeled down on stage and half the theatre went up. There was no rhyme or reason to who was next, lots of pushing. I would have liked to get to chat for a few seconds, but it didnt happen. I dont even think he knew what he signed

Sounds pretty crazy, but at least you got it signed.

Glad this is all nice and organized now! Looks awesome, but I think this should be in Poodle Hat. Speaking of which I am currently listening to Poodle Hat.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

I would dare say this is that Genius in France is the best song off Poodle Hat.
