I just listened to the original, and I have to admit that Al almost-sorta-kinda-maybe sounds like the lead singer in some parts

Yeah, I've heard the original and he does sound a little like him...but it's OK, Al's version is still better. :D

I heard the original too, in fact i have to the video. And Al sorta does sound like the lead singer of Offspring.

I always thought Al was Jewish because in some songs he says Oy vey!!!!!!! and I thought that was Jewish!!!!!!!

Just because a person says oy vey doesn't mean they're Jewish. I say it a lot, too, and I'm not Jewish, either. Remember, kids. Als songs are not biographical. Besides, the correct term for the language is Yiddish.

This song is great. I don't think Al has used different languages in his songs since Taco Grande. It's very creative.
