Love this song. Yoda as well. Finally saw them live at my first concert, I think last summer.

Hate the movies though.

"The Saga Begins" is a parody by "Weird Al" Yankovic of "American Pie" by Don McLean, released from the 1999 album Running with Scissors, and later appearing on the compilation album entitled The Saga Begins and the instrumental are too good. The title derives from a tagline that appeared in teaser trailers and the film poster for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace: "Every saga has a beginning".

And here's more breaking news: "Eat It" was a parody of "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. Don't tell anyone.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Almost shaking with fury at this remark (by a stranger) on Twitter

"I showed the 5 year old the Weird Al version of American Pie and forgot the lyrics say "Pre pubescent" OOOPS! He didn't ask..."

And so yet another perfectly good word goes into the "offensive" bin.. What the HELL is the matter with people?

I hope she played him the Radio Disney version, or else some little kid might have heard the phrase "hitting on the queen"! :o
