I said the Bob Rivers forum thing because everything was off topic, but everybody seemed to ignore my subtle hint to get back on topic. And I didnt feel the need to respond to your question because quite frankly it seemed like it was a taunt. If it wasnt, then I read it wrong. This all even couldve been talked about in "Artists you might like." I open this topic to read about TNSWC, not Bob Rivers.

Christmas At Ground Zero was in 1986
Night Santa Went Crazy in 1996.
Why wasn't there a Christmas song on SOL?

Why would there have to be?

WSD was a 60's Christmas TV special song style parody, y'know.

But still it wasn't a Christmas song. Weasel Stomping Day is its own holiday.

How lame would it be if it was known that exactly every ten years Al was going to release a new Christmas song?
He's already released two. How many more does he need to do? It would be different if they were released on iTunes, but I for one don't really want to lose another spot on an upcoming album to a Christmas song. It's been done.

EDIT: Maybe in 2016 he will release another Weasel Stomping Day-themed song.

Does anyone know why the Extra Gory version wasn't released on Bad Hair Day? Was it an idea that Al had after recording the original version of the song, did Al's record company censor him on his original lyrics, or something else?
