This is such an awesome song.
At my first weird al concert, I knew that it was coming, but I didn't know how loud it was! They had it so loud that i was two inches from my friend's ear and yelling and he couldn't understand what I was saying! That was then the best concert I had ever been too!

Why hasn't Funzone been on more "Greatest Hits" albums?

So this usually opens Al's concerts? I wonder why it didn't open Weird Al Yankovic Live.

Don't care much for this instrumental. Easily forgettable.

If you think Fun Zone is easily forgettable, then that means you haven't been to enough concerts yet.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Ive liked Fun Zone all along, even before I found it Al used it to open his shows. It's very peppy and up, and perfect for a show opener.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

It is NOT forgettable!!! I'm a musician myself somehow, and few melodies do really cheer me up as well as this one! Ta-da-da-da, ta, ta, ta-da, ta, ta-da-da-da-da-da, da, da - taaaaaa! Applause, whoohoo! :D
But there's one that makes me cheer more - that one from UHF. Too, doo, doo, doo, doo wee-oo... this deserves a topic for sure.

Yeah, I wouldn't say "Fun Zone" is a masterpiece, but it is anything but forgettable. It is probably the easiest Weird Al song to get stuck in my head; a few seconds after I pop in the Ultimate Video Collection DVD I am whistling it.

In fact, it is stuck in my head now thanks to this discussion. Ah, Christ.

You're right. It's not easily forgettable. It's easily annoying.

Season 2 of The X-Files sucked, by the way.
