I guess Mark gets better the more he performs the song.

Bah, that's not one of Al's best though but hey MFN has the best guitar solo, pity it's so short.

Video wasn't half-bad however.

Mark Knopfler. He agreed to let Al do the parody of Money for Nothing as long as he played guitar on it. Yes, he is the guitarist for Dire Straits.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Al does a great job on parodying the videos of the songs. I do like the song, I just don't listen to it as much as others.

Dare I say it...I never cared for this song. I mean, all he did was take the words to the Beverly Hillbillies theme song and sung it over the music to Money for Nothing. Not really that special...

He did do a good job with the video though.

I remember Al was talking about Money for Nothing and in order to make the song Mark Knopfler said that he had to play the guitar solo. Has anyone else heard this?
Some people are just born human. The rest of us, we take a lifetime to get there

Yes I've heard that. He told that story on the UHF commentary. And Al said
"Jim's guitar track sounded alot more like the original. Cause Mark had been on the road. But they put Marks on it cause you just can't copy that Mark Knopfler feel."

That's basically what Al said. Sorry been watching that way too much. But yes I've heard that. :D

True, but he was also continuing a comedic-song tradition of mixing TV themes with popular songs, a tradition that dates back to "Stairway to Gilligan."
