Hot Rocks Polka

Post by Demented Dustin »

I am sure everyone has noticed that as far as I know the Hot Rocks Polka has never been played live in concert (or live anywhere for that matter). Seeing as the Rolling Stones are getting extra attention right now due to their 50th anniversary, I would love to see Al perform this on the next leg of his tour. I know it won't happen but it would be a shame if this was the only album polka never performed live. Maybe I am missing a live tv show performance or something but I have never heard of a live performance of this ever being done. Can anyone else think of a time this has been performed?

What tour/show was going on then? Nothing listed on wa.com's tour dates archive.

Al and the guys would be such an amazing supporting act for The Rolling Stones. This song would be a great way to start the set of course... would be kinda like a "cream dream". :good:
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

You can't have a "cream dream" without Eric Clapton. <BvD>

I wish that Al had saved "Jumpin' Jack Flash" for this polka instead of wasting it in "Polkas on 45."
