Does anyone besides me think that this is a great song? I mean, it's so random. Random=funny.:D It's probably my favorite on the ALbum (or pretty close).

This is really my favorite Al song. It's just hilarious. I don't know why. It's probably the randomness.

I was reading the album review in Windows Media Player, and it had this to say:

"But it is "SIACWVW" that is the real winner for Yankovic, as this was the first song that he wrote that his supposed target audience of 11 year olds liked as much or even more than his parodies."

Is this true? I wasnt a fan when this album came out, though it was my first Album back in 93. So was this the most popular original?

As far as I know Al's most popular original has always been One More Minute. This is judging from Dr Demento Funny Five requests, and the fact that it's been part of every setlist since 1985.
This means something. This is important.

Maybe on the Bizarro World.

Based on mainstream exposure, it seems as if the most popular originals have been OMM and DTBS.

 Wow. I've never heard anyone say that before. I really have never thought of this song as being all that popular, and certainly not one of Al's most popular.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

What I really want to know is, why did the person who wrote the review think that Al wrote this song with 11 year olds in mind?

(BTW- I don't think SIACWVW is the most popular original on Even Worse [I believe Melanie, Good Old Days and You Make Me are more popular], let alone overall.)

I think that goes back to an ill-informed characterization of who makes up Al's core audience. It's just another one of those Al misconceptions that critics like to repeat without doing actual research.

Oh wow, this song isn't that bad... I dunno how exactly this song is aimed at 11 year olds considering I AM 11! I dunno why, I just never really cared for this song... But after hearing it, it's pretty good. Btw, I dunno why, but it reminds me of a song thats commonly mislabeled as Al, which is Barney's On The Fire... I dunno why...

Hey, weirdalfan95, did you just recently become a fan of GD? I got into them when I was 11,too. But this was back in 1995, so... :F

on topic, I don't really like 'Vanna White'. It just doesn't appeal to me, maybe because of the music or lyrics, but I could never get into the song.
