One thing she believed was that if you hammer nails at night into a wall, it will cause earthquakes in Japan.

Also that it you eat facing sideways in your chair, not turned but with your legs and body off to your right or left, you'll get bad cramps.

I just heard this song for the first time last week, and I must say, it's pretty great. Considering how early in Weird Al's career this song is, its style is spot on. I love the "ja-ja-ja-jacuzzi" line.

I'm hoping Jim West decides to perform the song again some time. He did it as a special treat for us at AlFest (nobly giving up a timeslot he could have used to do another of his own songs, instead of one of his boss's songs) and he did an absolutely awesome job.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Content-wise, this song reminds me a lot of "You Are What You Is" (the song, not the album) by Frank Zappa.

I'm a Zappa but and I don't see it. I even went back and listened just now and I don't see it at all

Really? Lyrically speaking, you don't see similarities between the lifestyle changes of the characters?
