Yes!!!! I love the song "The checks in the mail!!!!" That was a great one. On saturday I am going to listen to "Happy Birthday!" in true honor of Al's birthday!!! Also the artwork on the first album was spectatular!!!! In adition, i also found Al's accordion solo in "Stop draging my car around" to be very cutting edge! Yes Al you rock that Accordion!!!!

Its kool to listen to his first album. I had to go and buy the CD of his first album since my tape wore out and died. One thing I always wanted to get was a video tape of his old concerts back in the 80's., early 90's. I didn't get to be a groupy untill 1999-2000. I took a week off from work and told my boss "If I don't come back, that means I've joined the groupys and I'm traveling the world with Al".

If anyone knows were I can get early recordings Al's concerts let me know. Also, is there a recording of Al's song "driving arround in my big bevadeer" ?
Thanks

Wow, isn't this like a forum NO-NO??
Aron-- Only the second accordionist to ever sit in the trunk of Torsoboy's DeLorean. Al was the first.

I have noticed a chain in a way...I think each song is in some way connected

Gotta boogie - Stop draggin my car around: I was jumpin/dancin like a maniac

Stop dragging my car around- the checks in the mail: last line in SDMCA

can anyone else find connections?
