I'm pretty sure that it was performed during the encore in Albuquerque a few years ago, but other than that Al hasn't played it live.

He also performed it at a comedy festival.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I really like this song. I wonder if it would have been allowed to have been performed on The Weird Al Show.

Probably not, because it's about an old man in an iron lung who ends up dying. But you never know.

Then again, those CBS censors did let a few questionable things through. Even they couldn't completely censor the humor out of the show.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

They did have the end of the HN video. Although the section showed didn't say that Mr. Bobbit just had "Mr. Happy" cut off of him, it sure inferred... no, I mean implied..... it.

One of the first cassettes I ever had was "Weird Al Yankovic", and the breathing sound scared the HELL out of me. I didn't listen to that song for years afterwards.

But now it's fine. ;)

in my top 5 favorite songs. This was the first record I heard of his and it has a special place in my heart. Sometimes I knock phones off tables and laugh. LOL okay maybe not but I might now...
I'd flush myself right down the toilet, but I'd just clog up the drain...

Iv'e always wondered if he wrote the song THEN came up with the breathing / accordion
or realized his accordion could make a realy cool noise that sounds like creepy breathing then wrote a song about it.
