I agree. He changed it enough to put it into a completely different genre. The only thing even tying the song to "Jack and Diane" is the opening line. I was just clarifying for him.

Yeah, that's what I said. :lookaround:

I disagree with this as much as I possibly can. This sounds absolutely nothing like "Jack and Diane." It's not even remotely close. There's not even a musical similarity.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Haha right! If anything, it's the anti-Albuquerque!

Looks like Kate is now the one hanging around the house all day, making babies and stuff.

Pretty much. I wish the clip of them performing this in the Compleat Al was the whole song. Wicked clip, that is some really rockin' stuff!
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

I'm in a rating-giving mood. So, I believe I have this as a 3 out of 5 in iTunes. I will need to double-check to make sure.

This is blues gold man! For a first album track, how can anyone not give this a solid 5/5 for the riffs alone? You have to feel the music.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I don't love every song of Al's.
