This means they're playing at a venue that plans to roll out its entire summer lineup at once, and there's a contractual obligation to wait until they've done so before any artist can announce their show. The Greek Theater (capacity 5900) would qualify for this, though that's a bit large for two nights on the Vanity Tour. Last time it was at the Ace Hotel (capacity 1400). Could be Ace again maybe!

I'm going to NINE shows this tour! By far my biggest tourchase for any band ever.

3 Shows in Las Vegas
2 in LA
Santa Barbara and Bakersfield
wait a couple months then
Riverside and Thousand Oaks

So excited for this tour!! Hoping for Everything You Know Is Wrong, I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead, and Slime Creatures From Outer Space as ever.

Also hoping they mix up the ending a bit. Maybe a different set of songs in the unplugged medley if they still do that? Maybe mix in some rarely played parodies??

Oh yeah also HI EVERYONE!

Hi there. Been a long time.

I'll be going to Madison WI and Carnegie Hall. Great seats for both. I hope they can do the VIP meet n greets and this pesky pandemic doesn't get in the way.

Since they are requiring full vaccinations AND face coverings at all times it seems like Al and company have planned for any number of variants occuring between now and the end of the tour. We should all be fine.

I'm in for the first (Poughkeepsie) and last (NYC) stops on this tour, along with one additional stop in Ridgefield, CT, which happens to be both the next closest stop to where I live, and the smallest stop, with a 500 seat venue. I MIGHT also get a ticket to Philadelphia down the line if I'm still chasing any songs that I missed. Really bummed we missed Good Enough For Now at all 3 shows I saw last time, since that was my wedding dance song.

I decided against VIP this time around since COVID regulations are going to make it less fun. Al is not going to be signing autographs or touching anything fans bring him, and they'll probably have him in a box for photo taking. I also don't expect the other band members to be meet&greeting...

Okay, my current line-up has changed a tiny bit. I'll be in Little Rock on 5/31, Dallas on 9/30, and Houston on 10/1. I was able to get VIP for Dallas; doubt I'll do it again on this tour, but who knows?

I'm also still looking at 9/4 in Midwest City, and I'm planning on buying tickets to the Shreveport show on 10/7, but they are still not on sale!

Woohoo, people coming back to the forum! Is anyone else having trouble staying logged in?

While I was only able to afford tickets for one show (non-VIP), I'm stoked for my second live Weird Al experience. I'll be at the first Toronto date. My last Al shows were the Alpocalypse DVD tapings at Massey Hall, so it will be exciting to see something totally different. I loved chatting with the crew and fellow fans at the stage door last time, but I'm guessing that's not possible this time around.

So, Toronto only unless...
I work as an opera stage manager, and in a fun coincidence I have a gig at the Granada in Santa Barbara a week before the Vanity Tour rolls through. Once I lose my billet, anyone know where I can stay? Considered hiding in the theatre... then thought, "nah." :P

I'll add my thanks for keeping this site running. And yes, I've been having unexpected log-out issues.
