Probably all you dedicated WAY-surfers have seen this article already:

http://www.drumheads.org/main.htm

but I just wanted to say how pleased I am to see those words in print:
Bermuda Schwartz is the exclusive drummer for Weird Al Yankovic, currently recording a new album that will take him on a national tour in 2003.
(emphasis mine)

I also wanted to say how baffled I was to see these words in print:
The tune "The Saga Begins" was set to the music of "MacArthur Park" by Don McLean.

Apparently "American Pie" is such a popular tune that, just like some celebrities, it has to go out in public under an alias. Or else Don McLean & Jimmy Webb have been having some interesting negotiations:

Jimmy: I'm really sick of that song, Don. You want it?

Don: Okay. I'll even give you [unspecified monetary compensation] and a first-round draft pick from my back catalog.

2003!! Woo hoo!!

Thanks OE, I hadn't seen that one yet. Man there are a few questions I'd like to run by Bermuda after reading that... The logistical stuff is pretty interesting.

Nice pic...

He also has a small business designing websites and image and audio processing

Bermuda, if you are reading this... are there other sites that you have made that we can see??

First, I should point out that I didn't make either of the quotes above. The "tour in 2003" is something I tell everyone - I've said it here - but always with the caveat "we will probably..." or "we should be..." So please don't take that to mean that there's a tour in the works. If there was, and if the album was close to being finished, and whenever there's any news worth relating, it always appears - that's right, you guessed it - at weirdal.com

As for the MacArthur Park quote, I hadn't noticed that before, but it's obviously not an error I would make!

Web sites? Yeah, you can see them all (assuming everyone's servers are uo & running!)

No, of course not, that's why I put the link to the article. The interviewer seems to have got his classic songs mixed up a little. But it was funny.

And I visit weirdal.com every day. It's my startup page

I was hoping for an URL or two... Are they buried somewhere at weirdal.com or http://www.bermudaschwartz.com/?

Or do I do a Google search under "Bermuda's Websites"?

Some of the sites I designed are:

http://www.bakernorthrop.com

http://www.mikecondello.com

http://www.cinemasmith.com

Simple but effective stuff really. If a client needs something more intricate, I suggest they consult the nearest 10-year-old.

Simple and effective... They are good.

One of my new interests is learning web design. I have been learning on my Weird Al site, and I think I am getting better all the time. But it is hard to resist the impulse to be too cool. Simple is hard to achieve.

I like the way your navigation bars are simple, straight forward not at all confusing. No mystery meat navigation.

Thanks for sharing :) You are indeed a man of many talents.

I spent some time looking at www.mikecondello.com. I don't know anything about the man, but now I am curious. From what I gathered from the site, he was also doing "demented" music?

So it turns out that Bermuda is not only a historian for Weird Al, but also other demented artists. Fascinating. I would love a chance to listen to your music collection, Bermuda.

The sound you hear is that of Scottidog's dreams shattering... <whimper>

Ok, I will try to be patient. Patience is not my strong suit, but I will try... sigh... And I was hoping in time for Christmas. Doesn't sound like it, does it boys and girls?

Al does know he's killing us with suspense, doesn't he, Bermuda?
